About the book

This book looks at cancer from an open metabolic perspective on the human organism. Tumours do not arise in isolation outside the body, but within relationships of metabolism, inflammation, mitochondria, immune responses, nutrition, hormones and metabolic stability.

Cancer is understood less as a single defect and more as part of a dynamic biological system. The aim is orientation: making relationships understandable and preparing conversations with the care team – without dogma and without simple cure promises.

The reading structure follows a patient-first logic: act and orient first, then common cancers, then background on metabolism and tumour biology.
